 MY APPROACH TO

Growth & Development

FOUNDATION OF my approach

AdobeStock_1198694414_13_edited_edited_e

My approach naturally integrates basic basic nervous-system principles and practices into my coaching and training because the nervous system strongly influences how we:

  • think

  • feel

  • relate

  • respond under stress

  • learn

  • change

  • access our existing strengths & capabilities

  • — and more!

Below, I describe the fuller picture of working with the nervous system, personal triggers, and emotional and behavioral survival strategies to support meaningful and sustainable change — often related to improving communication, navigating conflict, and building and maintaining relationships. For those interested in deeper work around major loss and trauma, I also offer 1:1 and group coaching focused more directly on those experiences.

This brings us to what I think of as the sweet spot

for meaningful growth and change:

The Sweet Spot for Lasting Change

It's my experience there is a sweet spot for creating real growth and change in any domain – yet almost all development approaches fall short of reaching it. While often addressing the "what" and "why" to change, many omit  the "how".

See how each area helps us thrive, here:

Our Relationships

Here's the how!

And,

When these areas are thriving and in sync, we enter the optimal human state of feeling engaged and connected — to our Best Self, to others, and to the priorities, work, and goals that matter most to us!

Whatever your growth and development focus is, my coaching and training will guide you to work with — and not against — the way we're naturally wired neurobiologically, cognitively, psychologically, and socially.

I’ll help you understand how our nervous system is key to moving us toward engagement and connection or toward reactivity and shutdown. You’ll practice strategies for applying nervous-system principles so you can access your existing strengths, build the new knowledge and capacities you seek, and improve your effectiveness and results — both at home and work!

So, if you want to step into YOUR Best Self,

or help your group or team do the same,

Core Modalities Behind my approach

My approach is grounded in neuroscience, high quality assessments, emotional intelligence (EQ) skills, and authentic, effective role modeling of the skills that matter most to you or your team.  These are the five core modalities that most strongly influence my approach:
