Why work with an  expert ?

  • I'll tyically respond within 3-4 business days and will include the applicable pre-steps to get started and my calendar link.

We all juggle a lot every day – taking care of responsibilities, meeting critical deadlines, solving various problems, and even kicking butt in a few areas.  Then there are those things we know we really want or should do – but we haven't yet.

These might be habits we want to break (or make), things we've been avoiding or struggling to improve or some important goals or dreams that we've put on the back burner.

And even though we know that real change would make our life or work better, easier, or more exciting it’s so easy to linger on in the state of not changing, for months, years, or even decades.  Ouch !

This is exactly where self-development work with an expert guide makes a transformative difference: Your aspirations shift to become your new reality.

By helping you to explore your situation more deeply from multiple angles, offering powerful strategies and tools, and providing just the right amounts of support, challenge, and accountability, a guide will help you create the time and space for breaking through barriers, having major insights, and finally making real progress.  Not later, not never – now.

This work creates a solid process that will lead you to finally achieve what really matters to you.

I’d be honored to help you unlock this potential —

I already know it's inside of  you !

Many people believe trauma only arises from extreme or catastrophic events and leads to equally extreme responses.  In reality, trauma often develops from overwhelming moments of “too much, too fast” or prolonged experiences of “too little, for too long.”  In both cases, the body-mind registers the experience as too much to handle alone — and then it gets stuck as unresolved.  Unresolved experiences quietly shape how we live and keep showing up in the present.  Trauma-informed coaching offers present-focused, supportive guidance for those impacted by such overwhelming experiences — helping explore and gently shift how they continue to constrain your relationship with yourself, others, life, and the changes you're trying to make.

Unlike therapy, coaching does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions nor analyze past trauma in depth.  Instead, it’s grounded in the belief that growth and change (including healing overwhelm) is possible in the context of helping you take well-paced, supported actions to move you forward with your goals.  While coaching can complement therapy, in some cases, working with a therapist or other professional may be a better fit (which I’m happy to help you discern if needed).

My coaching is rooted in a relational-somatic approach, which is inherently trauma-informed.  With nearly 300 hours of formal trauma-resolution training and thousands of client hours, I support people in recognizing how unresolved overwhelm may still live in one's nervous system — expressing itself through patterns of thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and relationships.  We explore and gently shift these patterns into more grounded, life-affirming responses, always at a pace that feels right for you.

This work also involves developing essential relational skills — sometimes referred to as “capacity or skill gaps” — that may not have fully formed due to prolonged survival-mode coping or a lack of a supportive, capable environment essential for learning.  Examples of such skills include emotional-regulation, clear communication, and respectful, effective boundary-setting.

Through this process, you’ll begin to expand your nervous system’s capacity, deepen self-trust, and grow your felt sense of competence and possibility.  YES!  The goal is to help you move away from patterns like perfectionism, avoidance, control, people pleasing, or stuckness — and move toward reconnection, resilience, and feeling at home in yourself and your life.

I've done this work in my own journey — and it's

the best gift I could have ever given myself.

To read about how my approach applies to the lens of "trauma resolution", click here:

Learn about the 4 main types of trauma, here:

AVAILABILITY (PRIVATE, INDIVIDUAL COACHING)

I have limited slots available in my practice for individual coaching that includes the focus of trauma-resolution support.  For these sessions, I reduce my rate when compared to the executive coaching I provide for businesses/organizations and reserve a few time slots at $150 per 55-minute session.

SELF-PAY (RARE INSURANCE COVERAGE)

Since most health insurance plans unfortunately do not cover coaching, my coaching is mostly self-pay.  It may be helpful to contact your insurance or other benefit company to explore your current benefits (as I would be happy to provide formal documentation receipts, etc., if helpful).

REFERRAL TO INSURANCE PROVIDERS  (IF HELPFUL TO YOU)

If it is necessary for you work with a trauma-resolution provider in your insurance network and you would like my personal recommendation:  I recommend interviewing providers who use one or both of the following modalities (as these are the modalities that I know, incorporate into my approach, and used in my own self-development journey).  Although I don't know someone specifically to refer you to, you can search the following website directories below, by location - just note that you have to check on the individual's insurance availability for all providers, in general:

  • Somatic Experiencing (a somatic healing approach):

  • Internal Family Systems (a relational healing approach):

PAYMENT METHODS

  • Zelle (PNC bank transfer), Stripe (credit), and PayPal or Venmo, (which can be bank account or credit)

  • If you have another preferred method, feel free to check in with me about it.

Taking all the above information into account, another definition of trauma I find helpful is:

"Too much, too fast, without enough support to processes it

and/or

Too little, for too long, without enough support to process it"

Relational Somatic Coaching

Brings in how you unconsciously organize the self-view of “who you are” and how you view the world (as a natural human psychological process).

This process creates: (a) your inner dynamic of how you interact with and ”treat” yourself and how you guide yourself through living each day and (b) your outer dynamic of how you tend to view and interact with/treat others.

We work with "parts" of yourself to: (a) increase access to your best/authentic Self and (b) understand,, help, and ultimately transform the parts of you that act out limiting habitual patterns and have high emotion or distress.

RELATIONALITY

(Internal Family Systems & the Enneagram)

Brings in learning about and working with the body’s survival physiology, nervous system’s productive and unproductive responses to fear, and feeling one’s sensations at a pace and depth without overwhelm.

Our aim is to increase your ability to feel both safe and competent as you expereince all of life’s situations, both pleasurable and difficult.  And it feels like you’re coming home to yourself.

SOMATICS

Why choose me as your  guide ?

Traditional development approaches often spark a short burst of inspiration but rarely address—let alone build—the core relational skills that drive organizational success. Skills like building trust and strong relationships, navigating disagreement and conflict, giving feedback, and ensuring follow-though are essential for real success, yet most people struggle to apply most of what they’ve learned once they’re back in real life.

I’ve developed practical, experience-driven frameworks that close the gap between learning and doing, with clear steps for practice, refinement, and accountability in real-world settings. My approach is designed to activate the intrinsic motivation we all have to become our best—and to turn that growth into true skill-building and lasting change.

So, if you’re ready to begin a solid development path that delivers real results,

I'd love to be the guide who will get t you there.

What's different about focusing on  development  ?

COMPARING WHO TO WORK WITH

My focus on self-development is different than many other helping professionals.

My work with individuals and groups centers on

Mental health considerations: Sometimes a therapist (or other professional) is a better fit.

As a coach, our training does not encompass the deeper healing and support associated with therapy/counseling/psychiatry by a licensed mental health professional who can best focus on mental health symptoms, problems, diagnosis, and/or a treatment.

I'There are also levels of treatment that might be more appropriate than 1:1 sessions, such as longer outpatient or inpatient programs or rehabs and medication prescription (by a physician/psychiatrist, for example).  These levels can also include the difficulty of not being able to work or complete usual daily activities (like eating, sleeping, or social activities, etc.).  Mental health professionals also often have treatment specialties, such as with addition, whether it be to substances, gambling, or sex, etc. - all of which are all outside the domain of my training, ability, or comfort level.

I WOULD LOVE TO BE A PART OF

 YOUR SE JOURNEY !

The development sweet spot is the place where our Mind, Body, and Relationships all work together.  Right there, a kind of optimal human synergy is created because we are operating from our whole, authentic self, as we interact with others, the world, and inside ourselves (how we guide and treat ourselves internally) as we go about our life and work.

We perceive all reality, what's going on in the environment, within ourselves, and with others, and we are able to align our behaviors (acting and speaking ) and with our deepest values to live in integrity and enjoy the ride.

While growing up, I just always knew there had to be a better way to live than the way we all seemed to be living.  In one word: stressed.

So, I set out to find that better way to live.   And I did – but only due to the help of the fantastic teachings and personal guides I found while on my own development journey.

Now, I’m excited to help you unlock your potential for something better – that can turn into something pretty amazing with a commitment to the journey. (I’m here to help with that, too!)

And it all starts with you taking one leap:

one eye-opening conversation.

Now, I’m excited to help you unlock your potential for something better – that can turn into something pretty amazing with a commitment to the journey. (I’m here to help with that, too!)

pretty amazing with a commitment to the journey. (I’m here to help with that, too!)

And it all starts with you taking one leap:

just one eye-opening, pretty cool conversation.

So, shall we  take  that  leap ?

I've found that the most effective and foundational self-development strategies work with – and not against – the ways we humans are built biologically, psychologically/mentally, and socially.

This points to understanding the difference between, either, our being most effective working (we work with our human design by seeing/considering the full perspective of all involved/affected) or just kind of  effective (we are working short or against our design if we are effective/gaining something in some ways, but yet not in other ways).

We must learn the fundamental building blocks and "best practices" of self-development to learn the optimal ways to navigate challenges and opportunities.  This is also what we need to start living from our authentic, best self.

All these best practices start with being in the optimal human state of feeling and being more connected: to yourself, others, and whatever it is you are doing.

in order to help you integrate the importance of our mind, body and relationships.   These are also what allows us to start living from our authentic, best self.

Development is grounded in learning to be in the optimal human state of feeling and being more connected: to yourself, others, and whatever it is you are doing.

The surprise bonus to

self - development

As a self-development guide, I’ll share the expertise I’ve passionately built to help you grow internally and act externally to reach your unique vision of success and fulfillment – whether personal, professional, or a mix of both!

And, here's the bonus:

Growth always spreads!

As you grow, you’ll naturally end up applying your new insights and abilities to more and more situations that you encounter.  Your positive changes will ripple into other aspects of life: how you work, create, problem-solve, disagree – AND how you parent, love, play, and rest. With continued growth, your transformations become undeniable, and then others will start noticing the positive changes in you, too.

Sounds a little exciting, doesn't it ?
