Group Work

& Mediation

INCREASE COHESION & productivity

THE PURPOSE:

Sometimes a couple, family/friends, neighbors or another group find themselves stuck — facing a tough challenge they just can’t resolve alone.  I'll help your group move forward by helping you stay focused on shared goals, build mutual understanding, learn and practice new skills, create a realistic plan, and ultimately transform any unproductive patterns into lasting, positive change.

3 Core Group Solutions

These are the development solutions I use in my group work, as any need arises:

Check out my services for organizations, as that section better addresses common organizational needs.

Directs meaningful and productive dialogue to increase clarity and establish shared agreements when there is confusion/discord Sessions commonly focus on creating a clear vision/goal, shared "norms" for how to effectively communicate together,  and key “accountability agreements” so they can relate to and work with each other more effectively.

FACILITATION

Uses reflective questions, exercises, and educational interventions to generate new insights and  possibilitiesParticipants are guided to explore meaningful areas  (such as values, intentions, and beliefs), share information with each other, and identify clear action steps to take in order to move forward between sessions and/or after the final session.

COACHING

Applies the most effective conflict-resolution strategies to help participants turn down the heat of strong emotion and a lot of arguing, communicate more clearly and respectfully, and both listen to and understand each other better.  The goals is to arrive at an end result that feels acceptable/satisfying to all the parties involved.
